Visual Appearance
Gin is fairly ordinary in terms of clothing, and doesn't wear any unique items. His overall appearance, however, is not as normal. He keeps his eyes constantly narrowed to slits, rarely ever opening his eyes which are found to be a bright sky blue. For a 16 year old, he is unusually thin and tall with very sharp features giving him a skeletal appearance. He bears unusual silver hair. He also keeps his face set in a wide mocking smile, which he only wipes off on rare occasions of annoyance, surprise, confusion, or even sadness. He wears a standard Namimori school uniform, though he usually wears a gray long-coat, shirt and tie, a newsboy cap (though he commonly forgoes wearing the coat and cap). Gin appears to have a pierced round ring in the middle of his tongue.

Personality
Behavior: Gin is one of the most mysterious people you'll ever meet since his almost constant smile and slitted eyes, combined with his heavy use of sarcasm and mocking politeness, make it very difficult to discern his thoughts. Many find his demeanor and appearance rather unsettling and there are very few who were willing to trust him. Gin seems to be fully aware of the effect he has on others and more than once has been seen toying with people's emotional states for his own amusement. Ever since he was a child, dried persimmons have been his absolute favorite food. Gin planted and raised many persimmon trees around his home and makes the dried persimmons himself, then distributes them to his neighbors. Once he wound up eating a dried sweet potato, thinking, "Oh, it's a dried persimmon!" and he hated it. Although his hobby is people-watching, it seems like he is possibly hunting around and searching for an opportunity to create mischief with some poor victim. He also has incredible skill at needle threading.

History: As a child, Gin was bullied because of his silver hair and his blue eyes. Because of this he grew to hate everyone who ever tried to talk to him. However, one day while he was training in his families dojo, a young girl came in. Her name was Yukino. Gin began to like Yukino, despite him not liking people. He soon realized that she didn't hate him like everyone else. The two became friends quick and continued to train together. After Gin turned 14, he went missing. Nobody knew where he was at and he had told nobody where he was going. It turned out that Gin had traveled to China to learn more about Taijitsu and more martial arts. Nobody knew when he would return to Japan. But it was almost time he had.
